Break the driveway into simple shapes
For a roughly rectangular driveway, estimate length and width. If it has a wider apron, side strip, or unusual shape, describe those areas separately rather than forcing one perfect rectangle.

Notice what is around it
Look for existing concrete, asphalt, grass, gravel, walls, landscaping, gates, slopes, and drainage paths. Note whether equipment may approach from the street or through a side yard.
Take ground-level photos from the street, the driveway, and the nearest access route. Add captions if a photo shows a specific issue.

A professional should evaluate the actual site, dimensions, removal needs, drainage, finish, structural or code questions, and project terms directly with you. Your rough measurement is a starting point, not a scope of work.
